WMP and audio manager have been working fine since I dumped the audiopara cab. And yes, I'm game for checking out the new sys

Nope.... never had good luck with those. Always gets my sound to jacked up, heck the Diamond has good enough sound for me. If I want to hear my music louder, I crank the old home theater up....

This was the result of a recent ongoing discussion in Calkulin's kitchen thread. The fix involves removing elements of the WM 6.5 theme, through reg edits, that make up that notification bubble.
