I'm having a couple issues:

1) ICR, Maybe it's just me but I have yet to find a rom with a working in call recorder.
2) You said flash lite was installed, it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Can't wait for future releases, I love stripped roms!
Yeah, in-call recorder isn't vital nor part of stock ROM, so I left it out in Frugal. I'll include it in the Tweaked ROM though.

Somehow Flash Lite doesn't work in Opera from Calku's kitchen. I'd have to test to see if it's the versions in the kitchen not working or if it's simply build 15954 not supporting Flash.

If you want Flash though, Iris Browser is a nice alternative that supports it. It works right out of the box, if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the reply, I'll be looking forward to the teaked version!
Also google maps allows you to zoom in with the dial but not zoom out.
Keep up the great work.

That's incorrect - before I flashed to your ROM, I was using my own ROM I cooked using Calku's 4.5 kitchen - I had flash working fine in Opera and I was using build 15954. I just couldn't get Youtube to work properly/play videos no matter how many ROMs I cooked so I finally gave up and went to your ROM which I'm ejoying so far!

Supercoe - what I did to fix the flash problem on this was to install the Flash Lite 3.1 cab... after I installed that and soft reset the phone, flash was working fine for me in Opera.

I added the Flash Lite 3.1 cab incase you need it.

If you want ICR, here's a RAR file with what you need to install to get it working... make sure you follow the directions in the notepad file!

Not a problem. It can't hurt anyone to contribute. (:

I'll see if I can turn your cab into an OEM to get Flash working in Opera. I usually prefer browsing without Flash though. It's so heavy. ]:

I hope Abobe will come up with something better soon. p:

Re: [F0.9 RC] alRom

Installed Adobe_FlashLite_3.1_WWE.cab, soft reset, still no flash.
The only flash that I've seen working so far was Mighty 4.6, oh well not a big deal.

Following the instructions for ICR and got to:
CDMA ONLY: 3) Copy wavedev.dll from the "CDMA DLL" folder into your \Windows directory.
I can't copy this file, do I need to use total commander or some other file manager?

Thanks again

Re: April 10th 2009 [Frugal F0.9 RC | Edge E0.1 to come] alRom

Flash does work. I think it's either Youtube did something and broke compatibility with Flash Lite, or Opera 15954 isn't compatible with the Youtube website.

Embedded Youtube in other sites works though. Oo;

I've decided to drop the Tweaked ROM in favor of a new flavor I call Edge. It's basically my selection of bleeding edge software, stable or not.

alRom Edge highlights:
Code:
Windows Mobile build 21500
Thanks to Cap'nChronic, indagroove, and Da_G.
XBmod Rhodium Manila V1D (off by default)
Removed World Clock (fixes hour issue)
3-column favorite apps/4-column app apps (fixes stuck soft-keys)
Removed Rhodium Menu Enhancement
Added HTC Album 3.0
Other than that, it's pretty frugal. Consider it an experimental ROM for users who aren't afraid of tinkering.

Re: April 10th 2009 [Frugal F0.9 RC | Edge E0.1] alRom

Is my host exaggerating my bandwidth usage or is everyone just being silent? p:

I'd like some feedback on my ROM please! Frugal F1.0 coming this evening, by the way.
