1 question! Will you be using the regular manilla or the HD version?
Regular Manila, because the HD weather tab looks squished. No fun. Maybe if I can get around fixing up HD manila, I'd pack it in, but it seems that it would be wasted effort, as all the attention is on Rhodium Manila now. Thus, Frugal with Standard Manila, and Tweaked with Rhodium. ;D

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. :3

totally agree regarding hd weather. it sucks compared to the older weather animation. there are nice features in hd & rhodium though especially rhodium and the bugs will be worked out soon enough.

Re: [feedback] alRom

I don't see any major advantage in HD Manila over Standard, except perhaps for the People and Stock tabs. The tab customizing can be replicated through 3rd party apps, and the Weather tab looks more like a regression to me.

I could try Daryelv's hybrid HD and see how that goes.

That's what I'm using now and I LOVE it - has the original weather tab and still the stocks tab which I use the heck out of... lol I also like the ability to move the tabs around w/o the use of 3rd party apps! I don't like having too much crap on my phone cause it tends to make the phone go slower IMO.

Re: [feedback] alRom

I'd stay away from 2 different ROMs. It diverts focus and has the potential to create extra bugs.

Make the ROM your ROM and go from there, imo.

Until you've made a public custom rom, and have had to filed all the various comments by your users of why didn't you do this or that, I would stay away from calling other chef's customizations crap. Comments like that are crap.

Re: [feedback] alRom

I think it sounds like a great idea, I like the tweaked idea myself I love the HD Manilla personally, haven't tried Rhodium, but Inda has the Rhodium notices and they are pretty sweet. Look forward to giving your Rom a go whenever you get it out...Good luck.
