After a soft reset, some of my notification settings revert back to default. This is a big problem. I use my calendar heavily, and I have to remember to change that setting every time.

I have read through this, does anyone else have no notification of text messages? I've got it set to vibrate, play a tone, display a message, but it is silent when one comes in. I find them by accident...

My phone does the alert tone when I receive a text. But, the "Display on screen" option comes unchecked after every soft reset.

This may be a little late if so sorry...
I was having the same problem as everyone else with the texting and this new rom...but i have found the issue at least on my phone anyway. and the winner is WA3!! When Wisbar Advance 3 is installed and running my keyboard closes automatically when opening a new text. And text messaging would freeze the phone...Everytime, but if I close WA3 it works perfectly...I am using the Sprint OEM ROM update with Touchpal keyboard, I did a hard reset installed each of my programs one at a time testing the text issue and found WA3 to be the culprit...hope this helps some of you out there. This is definitely the culprit on my phone been testing it all day!

Just wondering how SPB Programs are running on this update. I use SPB Keyboard, Weather and Mobile Shell and really dont want to lose functionality of these.

I really think this is the best running rom out here at this point. I don't install a lot of the things mentioned around here, though. However, I'm currently stripping all the unnecessary programs from this rom so I can set it up how I want it. Anyone interested in my project?

what are you planning in doing?
