Yes, that is correct. The cab file of the empty exe that was posted totally fixed the issue with the tethering edit not taking. I use Fingerkyboard and have not had any of the text/keyboard issues that have been described.

As far as opera, I rarely use it anyway. I much prefer to tether than to surf via the phone. But I'm sure there are other versions out there to try. I had updated my opera to a different build when I was on the original rom... I haven't yet taken the time to compare this time around.

Well it has been a long 10 hours here at work so far. I hope to leave here soon. This has given me some time to observe my rom, though. Stopping customizations also means no Opera or Picture Mail. The cab-install for Opera is like 9M alone. So I'm planning to cook them in to keep the rom size down. Right now, with all my cab-installs I have about 63M available.

Still tweaking here. There is definately some tweaks in the customizations so I can't stop them completely. I just have to find how to remove a few more things from there.

Sprint/HTC really flopped with the text messaging in this new ROM, my keyboard is constantly closing and opening and closing again. I am thoroughly annoyed with this. Is there a fix out there for this, because I really like all the other aspects of the rom and this one thing is killing me

When this happens to me I tap in the reply field and it stops. I've seen this on many roms.

The keyboard opening and closing happens when I tap reply. So, tapping reply won't help mine.

I don't mean the Reply softkey. I mean tap in field where you type your message.

Actually tapping inside the box where im gonna type is triggering my keyboard to disappear and reappear so what I end up doing is pressing down on the directional pad until it stops and i could type in the text field
