I've tried 3 or 4 different 6.5 roms, and I'm not sure if they all do it but periodically I'll grab my phone and the screen is black with the backlight on. I have to reset it from the reset button on the back. Then it reboots and I find out what texts/calls/alarms I missed while it was locked up.

This happens maybe once a week, and sometimes (like today) while I'm asleep and I end up missing calls and oversleeping.

Also, I ALWAYS do the flash to shipped rom first and all that jazz when flashing a new rom.

Mine does that a few times a week. Ill wake up in the morning and the phone wont respond and the screen will stay blank, Or ill end a call, and It wont respond or light up either.

Hey guys, I just installed the new ROM, but I can't seem to get active sync to work. Anyone have this problem or know of a solution?

Hi guys, does anyone notice that when you talk on the phone, the back light stays on still. How can I get it to turn off?

Is this on WM6.5 only? I believe that mine started when I went to 6.5.

Today was the last straw, I missed a VERY important call and must have this fixed even if it means going back to my old Katana II, I'm that serious.

when you went to 6.5 did you...

reformat internal storage?
Reflash to a stock oem rom?
then flash to custom rom?
then clear storage?

each time you reflash to a new rom I always reflash to stock oem 2.0 sprint rom and then to custom and then clear storage and each time I reformat the internal storage....

yes i did include the manila!! i re started the kitchen build and flashed again and it still will not work. its not that big of deal cause this rom is so good!!! i'm just going to take Notification Enhancement out and everything with be just fine thanks for the help

Yeah cooking is not that hard, it might be difficult at times when you get errors in BuildOS because sometimes it's hard to figure it out.

1. That one took ME a really long time to finally get it, I posted a tutorial on how to do it a while back. Here is the thread:

Its not the best tutorial out there but you should be able to figure it out.
2. Those are two images, one for align screen and another for setting the time zone. They are both located under SYS>base_dpi_192_resh_480_resv_640.

You can customize a ROM beyond this, you can add your own boot sound, theme, color etc. Take a look at rstoyguy's threads and you will find out how to do this.

Cooking is not as hard as it might look like. Some programs are really hard to make into OEMs though, like Opera, because you will need to edit a few things in the registry to make it work.

Well you can change the Page Pool and see which one you like best. I use 24 because that is the one the gives me the best performance in my opinion.

It's working fine for me, don't know what can be causing it. Removing Notification Enhancement will give you a lot more free space so that's good in a way.

I have a question about the page pool file... the screen pops up and asks for a size... what settings do you think is best. I am still trying the oem but I wanted to just build the rom first and see if it works...

I have been wanting to create an animated splash with the mark of zorro since my last name begins with "Z" i thought that would be cool.... it would make the Z then it would make a circle around it.... can anyone make that? I was thinking of calling it Z-rom based of Mystery 4....

I figured one step at a time
1st just use yours to compile and then make sure it works

2nd then add some custom stuff like splash screen....

3rd then add my software....
