Dumb question... if I take the latest 7.1.09 kitchen and build the ROM using all the default checkboxed choices ...would that be considered the "standard" Mystery ROM as you would have built it if you built it?

You need to convert the cabs to OEMs. Here is a tutorial on that:

The HTC Splash screen is located under OEM>System - Startup Animation 1.1.5.999 folder. Just rename you gif image to HTCAnimationStartup.gif and replace it with the one in the kitchen.

Not exactly, I will have also included the option to mapped the LSK and Power Button to WM 6.5, but yeah, basically that will be how I would have released it.

Also if there is something in the kitchen that you don't want to use, I suggest that you delete it from the kitchen. For example, if you don't need the Widgets then removed them from the sys folder because even if you don't select them in BuildOS they still take memory space in the ROM.

Not sure if I did it right but it seemed to have gotten rid of the option of specific programs. All I did was remove the OEM's that I did not want on the rom from the OEM folder. I did not delete them, just simply moved them somewhere else on my computer. When I went to build the rom, they were not longer there as options to select. I did the same with Titanium and I no longer have it as well. I imagine and am getting ready to try that if I put OEM's that I do want in the OEM folder, they will be available for me in the ROM. Is it really that simple Mystery?

For memory, storage memory changes depending on the size of the rom. If you have a .nbh file (the rom) which is say 140MB because it has more apps and stuff on it vs a rom which is say 80MB, you will have less total storage memory and less free memory as a result. That makes a lot of sense, thanks. So what is the advantage of having a 24 MB pagepool which my rom has over a 6 MB pagepool? Would one in the middle, say a 12 MB pagepool be the best of both worlds? Thanks in advance.

2. Image behind "Tap Screen to Setup Device" (Don't remember exactly what it says but you know what I mean)

Basically after I customize your rom how do I make it my own?

First of all I love Mystery Rom! I changed my wallpaper and can't figure out how to get it back to the default titanium/rhodium wallpaper.

Has anybody else had problems with WM6.5 freezing up on them out of nowhere?

I've tried 3 or 4 different 6.5 roms, and I'm not sure if they all do it but periodically I'll grab my phone and the screen is black with the backlight on. I have to reset it from the reset button on the back. Then it reboots and I find out what texts/calls/alarms I missed while it was locked up.

This happens maybe once a week, and sometimes (like today) while I'm asleep and I end up missing calls and oversleeping.

Also, I ALWAYS do the flash to shipped rom first and all that jazz when flashing a new rom.

making some progress with the kitchen... i was able to flash with just not modding anything but the startup splash of the htc logo... i think i made the page pool 16 should i do 20 and then i chose 6 for the other two options was that right?
