Yeah, I noticed that, too. It's the only app that seems to do it. Once I figure out how to change it, it will get cooked into my next ROM series. it jsut didn't make sense to hold this up over that.

What's even funnier is, she's at least relieved that I'm leaving he PPC-6700 alone now. She's got real tired of finding a different ROM with a new UI on her phone every week!

Question Re: [1/15/08] Now Available! Blue ROM v1.9 FINAL RELEASE (CE OS 5.2.21109/Build 21109

Any chance of a Telus version? I would really appreciate it

Bob

I can do that. Have you tried flashing the Sprint version? This has been flashed to a Telus phone with no adverse affects. I can't guarantee it will be perfect, but the user who did it had no issues. Worst case is, you flash back to a Telus ROM.

Let me know if you try it. I'll support you either way.

Thank you. That was quick. I will give it a try and let you know what I think. I liked v. 1.7 exept the battery life was considerably less than I am used to. There were events happening that were pulling up to 200ma and it never went below 120 even with the screen on powersave. I am used to a steady 93ma (BT off) with screen on bright but otherwise at rest.

Thanks

Bob

Thank you for trying my ROM!

I did have power issues with 1.7. They seemed to have improved with 1.9, though I don't yet have the data to back it up.

Please let me know how it goes!

So far I am very pleased. I love the look.
Battery life looks good, we'll see how it stands up to a work day tomorrow.
It feels very stable, it is quick and scrolling is very smooth. Initially I had trouble with GLight crashing but that seems to have settled down now.
This is heading toward being the best ROM I have used so far, we'll see how it stands up to a full day of work.

Bob
