Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

I agree that Skyfire is nice to have when you want to go to a flash-based web site, but (for me) it certainly is not faster than Opera in any way, shape or form. I use Skyfire once in awhile but for day to day surfing I only use Opera.

Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

Hey,
For you Opera users.
Is there a way to click on a link in opera and have it go there, like on IE?
Whenever I clck a link in opera, I have to double click it to zoom in and then I have to click the link again. I hate this. If I can see the link why do I have to zoom on it to click on it?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

i use both right now ,in opera i cant go on yahoo in pc mode it only shows up in mobile(i do have it set to pc in the settings) & i don't know how to change it so i use skyfire which in my opinion is way faster the opera ...i do admit that they do need to come out with a better interface for the diamond ...

Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

I like Skyfire, but cannot get over the resolution issue. Looks like it's running in a lower resolution and being scaled to fit the screen, as it's noticeably blurry. Doesn't seem like it officially supports 640x480 at this time?

Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

I only occasionally use skyfire. Even on a QVGA device I prefered opera mini. Now that I have a diamond, I barely even open skyfire. I use Opera mobile for everyday. All the problems with skyfire stated here pretty much sum up my experiences.

Re: Skyfire vs Opera Mobile

I grabbed a screenshot (Using SPB Screenshot) and the resulting PNG file reads 360x480, so depending on the scaling algorithm, it might actually look worse than QVGA on a VGA screen.
