Direct comparison of Teluls, MTS Touch Diamonds

Having gone from a Telus handset to an MTS handset (work-related reasons), I can tell you about some of the differences discovered thus far:

- MTS Diamond doesn't come with all the annoying extra software
- MTS Diamond GPS works out of the box with no QPST tweaking required
- MTS Diamond GPS experiences none of the lag the Telus one does, when slowing, accelerating or turning corners. I had them on my lap side by side in the car (passenger seat) and the difference was obvious.
- I have yet to take a picture with the MTS phone in landscape and have it come out in portrait...this happened 3/5 times on the Telus.
- Button feel is much more solid and polished on the MTS phone (could be luck)
- TouchFlo3D version is newer and snappier
- Font dot-pitch on the MTS phone is set lower; fonts are significantly larger in mail, some parts of Google Maps, etc. Unfortunately not street names in GM or TomTom.

So it's a winner. I loved the Telus phone; I like this one even more. You guys would do well to get a working dump of it.

-Doug
