You guys experience this because the customization is executing the SDAutorun.exe, which in turns it is looking for a config.txt in SD card. If you don't have this file, then it'll just sit there. There are two ways to do this:

1. Just poke the reset hole to reset and your phone should be back to normal.
2. TO fix this, go into the Carrier_XXXX where XXXX can be Telus, Sprint or Generic. If you are using generic carrier then go into Carrier_Generic and look at the config_operator.txt. Edit it the last line where it said EXEC: \Windows\SDAutorun.exe and change it to say RST: Reset. Save the file and now after reflash your phone will reset after customization.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: the command RST: Reset will tell the OS to soft-reset the device after customization is completed.

Well I was going to download this until I saw that everyones phone is locking up after the customization. So imma wait till that issue is fixed before flashing.. Besides 4.7 is fine for me after I worked out all the bugs..

I have had a similar issue with the 21051 builds I've done. Either the phone will hang on the htc screen, will freeze requiring a soft reset and then hang on the screen, or in my most recent case will hang and then automatically perform a hard reset.

On a side note, I seem to have more success when flashing from the Custom_RUU.exe app then I do when flashing from internal storage. Any ideas why that might be?

Also wanted to say thank you to Calkulin for all of the rom work!!! You have no idea how much I appreciate not only being able to use my device uncrippled (alltel, no nav, fm radio, etc), but also getting new features!!

Same here. I reflashed shipped then read that you and others were having flash issues. I'll reflash the last iteration of 4.8 till calc fixes the problem.

I found the exact same thing....., However, I now only flash from bootloader - it seems to have fixed the issue. Having to flash stock-THEN custom ROMs is a thing of the past since i've started using that method.

I tried reflashing from bootloader and got the same result with this updated version of the kitchen. Nevertheless, I probably didn't have to flash shipped, but my best experiences have been after going back to shipped.

still a no go, tryed #1 since i had already flashed and it was stuck. ended up getting stuck on the splash screen, so i made the changes in the config txt and rebuilt and its stuck again.
