If your flashing from another ROM/SYS, flash a stock ROM first and run through customizations, then reflash mine

I finally got around to cooking my own ROM in Calk's beautiful kitchen. Very rewarding.

So now just a couple questions that someone else might have insights on:

1) Anyone know how to cook the "normal" configurable programs tab in HD manilla (rather than the pre-stocked tab with every program)

2) After I built my ROM all my chocies were reset the next time I ran buildOS... is there a way to save (I didn't see the option in BuildOS nor in Calk's menu)?

For the normal programs tab, make sure to not check any of the 3 or 4 row manila options.

As for the options part, go to xip & rom tools(4) and chose option 5 to change the preset options

Don't know about 1), but for 2) in the tools folder, there is a fantastic little tool called EzOptionFileChanger. Use this once, and it will save all your preferences in BuilOS as long as you use that kitchen. Once you switch to a new ktichen, i don't think there is a way to make it remember your preivous choices.

Hey calc, thanks for the recommendation. I did apply the cab from the first page and it does add the temperature icon to the start page. Nevertheless, the forecast summary page still only shows Sun. through Wed. Showaco's v. 3a titanium weather shows the proper forecast days, but the cab removes the people tab! Any suggestions? BTW, this iis by far the best 6.5 rom I've ever used!

EDIT: looks like sailrace and I posted about the same topic at the same time!
