The big issue is the ringer problem. When i do a fresh flash, it seems to ring just fine (and i use the Generic 3 ringer, always). Then when i use activesync and sync to my exchange and everything loads up, the ringer stops giving any audible feedback. The screen comes on, my S2A screen shows up, and it flashes like it's ringing, but there is no sound.

I only seem to be able to get it to work with 21028. I'm going to try the new kitchen when it comes out, but for now....i'm stuck here.
Hmmm...well, last night, my phone reset itself and I lost all my favorites and had to reload them. It didn't hard reset cause all my contacts were still there, but all my calendar events were gone. I flashed the new Sprint "shipped" for now till calc uploads a new kitchen.

Only RC kitchen that worked for me without any Ringtone issue is RC3a all the other kitchen gave me the ringtone issue. I have been running this ROM for last 2 days and i havent had any issues. I flashed to the Sprint shipped latest 2.0 and then loaded the ROM. Only issue im having is Youtube always gives me cannot play video error. I can upload my ROM for you if you want to test it.
Thanks

Edit: I should be more clear on the ROM Its not a TP2 Manila ROM. Its got the Black Manila from Calkus kitchen and most all HTC apps with Battery Monitor, Clear Temp Flip it. Let me know if you are still interested. I love TP2 but its still buggy and i probably wont use it untill all the bugs are fixed by XB.

Here is the link for those who are interested

Thanks for posting your ROM. I may give it a shot later. Right now, i seem to have things working with the 21028 SYS - which seems to be a memory hog, but otherwise runs very smoothly.

I'll wait and see what happens with the next release. Thankfully, there are other options that work, and hopefully the next version works smoothly.

Nice to know i'm not the only one having issues though.

I'll put my hat into the ringer issue ring, and btw, I tried unchecking 3 line sms like someone else suggested and still got the issue. It seems to think my ringers are corrupt when i go to phone and options.

I'm using RC4 btw.

I thought it would be sys 21042 thats causing the ringing issue. Mine doesn't viberate either on incoming calls. I will continue reading to forum to see what happened to SYS 21042.

Yeah - the 3 line SMS was not the culprit. I'm not knowledgeable enough to deconstruct the SYS files, so i don't know what causes this issue. Here's hoping that a new release will sort it out.

Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

I really don't know where the ringer issue is coming from. I just went back to 4.5 and built a ROM using that without adding/removing anythings from the kitchen (so 21028 sys), and I still am getting the no ring (but will vibrate) on incoming calls. This is certainly a weird (and widespread) problem, but I like flashing my phone anyway. It's felt weird not flashing for a few days .

Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

Wow - really? There must be something that is getting corrupted as we build these ROMS. Why else would it happen to some people and not others.

I used the 4.6 kitchen because i like the add-ons like the new notifications and menus, but imported the 21028 SYS from the first page of this thread.

Is there an easy way that anyone knows of to export the selections in BuildOS so we could compare and see if there is one item that is screwing all of us up.
And my ringing problem seems to have gone away.

Did you get the Notifications and Menus from the 4.6 OEM package to work with 21028? I am currently running 21038 and had 21042 working with the menus and notifications but for some reason the menus would work in 21028.

I know this may be a stupid question but how do I cook a rom with the 6.5 stuff? Is it just the SYS? Like if I put the 21202 SYS into Calku's kitchen and cook it, it will automatically have all of the 6.5 stuff? Thanks.
