IMO, it is altogether a better sys. If you are interested in experimenting, cook a new one and roll back to 21028. See what you think.
Hey Bonz ... I came to the same conclusion. Seems like 21028 is the sweet spot so far. Just curious, which manila is your favorite in this sys?

Has nothing to do with the sys... you need to flash back to stock.

*edit* Sorry for the redundant info... this was already answered. I jumped the gun.

Some of the stuff in the new TP2 manila is really cool, but after the initial novelty wears off, it was far too buggy for me in its current state for me to stick with it. I can crank out a freaking sweet rom using Calc's latest kitchen, 21028 sys and the HD manila. Now, ask me again after the 1d TP2 manila release and I may give a different answer.

Agreed ... that's the beauty of having Calcu running interference. If anyone can pull all this together ... Calcu will be leading the pack ... pretty amazing stuff so far!

I've personally been using a 21198 SYS in this kitchen w/ no Manila. Seriously, I havn't missed Manila all that much, most of the time I'm answering the phone, reading emails, reading txts, all from the 6.5 slide2unlock screen.

I did run the Rhodium manila for a week or so (w/ 2119 but the manila just had too many bugs. I'm really not missing the 2000-3000 files in the Windows folder either...

I really don't feel like I do any of it. The kitchen makes it so easy, I just feel like I am picking from a few obvious choices to get what I like best.

So what exactly is the trick to using the kitchen with an older / different SYS file?
