Re: [ Jan 6 \ OS 5.2.21109 v4.0 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.3, ROMs & Cabs

Calc, just a minor bug (I think) in 4.1 preview kitchen...the highlight bubble at the bottom tray in the Sprint manila is off center just a bit to the right. In your other roms, the bubble was always over the center of the icon.

EDIT: I reflashed the rom from the 4.0 kitchen using some of the added oems from 4.1. If I omitted the wallpaper in all pages oem, the rom loaded without any glitches. I suspect this may be the culprit in the above misalignment at the bottom tray. I'll try the 4.1 kitchen again after the preview period.

Cool, thx, that's what I thought, it looked to easy. Thx again!

Is there a "how to..." section somewhere for the kitchen?
I extracted it, but haven't been able to get my personal OEM to show up in the kitchen. Probably something simple.
Thanks.

Is the activesync error a bug in the build? I had the same problem with Mighty 4.1, no connection for AS...

if you're extracting a rom, look in the temp folder for the extracted OEM/SYS/xip/etc.

I've found the extracted OEM, etc. I'm trying to find the Personalized OEM created by OEMizer and then I need to know where it should be (if it doesn't already go to the correct place when created) in order to flash the ROM with my personalizations selected.

if i remember correctly, oemizer puts the oem in a folder named OEM in the root directory of whatever drive the kitchen is on.

Does the kitchen have to be "installed"? I just extracted it to a non-OS storage HD. It ran fine. But there is no OEM folder except for the one in the Kitchen. And that one doesn't seem to have anything that looks like my personalized OEM.

But what you suggested gave me an idea. I did a little searching and found a sub-folder in the kitchen called OEM and it had a folder called Personal. I brought that folder and the other one, just in case, into the main OEM folder and voila. It shows up when I run BuildOS.

If you pull down the menu it should have both phone as modem and Sprint. If not then just add the following to your regedits rgu file

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
@=""
