Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Caleb can you get a better picture of the missing volume buttons? I was wrong about not needing volume down and I apologize. See if you can zoom in and get a good focus. If it is a little rubber type button on some motherboard that the volume pushes down on, you can probably take a paperclip and push it down, then use your other hand to press the d-pad center, back key, then power. I just pull the battery to cut the power.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but I'm trying to cook a ROM using this kitchen, but I can't get the phone to boot once its flashed. It's unlocked, Hard-SPL'ed and I flashed to stock first.

I'm using SYS/XIP 23060 and I have the "Real WM6.5 AKU" option checked.

All I get is the Diamond screen...no red text at the bottom though.

You need to uncheck "real wm6.5"

And also flash shipped. It's the one containing a radio too.

I just tried a different SYS/XIP with and without the Real WM 6.5 AKU box checked and I get the same results (roughtly, sometimes I get the red text on the Diamond screen, sometimes I do not, but it always hangs there).

**EDIT** Tried again with 23420 w/out box checked and it worked. Not sure what happened the first few times.

well after getting fed up with not getting the volume keys working, i took it apart and found out why, the wire going from the up/down to the circuit board was torn.... ofcourse i had to use an ingenious method to open it up...... i will sell it on ebay as slightly damaged...and cool to look at....

I have a sprint diamond and 23420 was totally unreliable. I did flash to stock and reformatted my internal storage. Has anyone found a more stable build for the sprint diamond? Thanks

Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

So, as my posts above explain, I was having trouble getting a ROM to boot that I cooked in Calk's kitchen. I thought I had it figured out, as the phone booted (customizer ran, and then I rebooted) and has been working.

However, I just did a shut it down, and now am experiencing the same problem I had earlier (can't get past the Diamond screen with red text). Any ideas?
