Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs
Interested in your new kitchen Calk, can't wait. I did some searching through the kitchen as to my previous inquiries. I found that the profile for DUN Is in the kitchen under sys, I'm assuming the BTDUN folder which is automatically selected by default no matter which sys you use. However for some reason it is not listed as a profile when I go to my bluetooth settings. Every default profile as well as the other ones included in the sys folder are but not DUN for some reason and that is the one I'm trying to actually use to pair my phone with another device for internet sharing. If anyone has any recommendations or advice I'd greatly appreciate it to resolving this issue. btw the current sys I'm using is 23060 but my last rom I built using 23414 the profile was missing as well.

Wait, so this will allow me to close Google Maps, and have it continue sharing my location with Lattitude?

Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs
These ROMS have been love/hate. I love the look and operation but have been having some problems. Under 21864 I could not get Activesync for exchange to work. I went down to 21055 (6.1) and it worked. One problem I've had with this and the previous 21054 build is that psShutxp would actually due a HARD reset when I would select the soft reset key. I would have to reload everything everytime I swapped batteries.
I'm not complaining because I appreciate the time that Calk and others have put into these ROMS. Unless there is an easy fix to these issues, I'm probably going back to stock for a while (YUK!). If I could find some extra time, I might build my own so I could at least complain about it. |

Not sure why people are having so much trouble. 23420 is working flawlessly for me. Everything works perfect for me. Only thing is that I notice a little bit worse battery life, but it last most of the day for me and I have chargers everywhere.

I know, I know ... cook it. Problem being, I have so many of my own OEM's that I build in via platformrebuilder, moving to the Visual Kitchen is just a pain! Best regards, -boggsie
