Re: [ v3 9-10 ] [ 23047 \ 23409 \ 23017 \ 21054 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROM

Is there a problem with HTC Volume Control on 6.5 SYS/ROMs? I'm using 23409, and the Windows volume control shows up when I adjust the volume. I have the 2.1 volume control selected for the ROM.

I've been using 6.1, so I'm not sure if this is just the way it is with 6.5.

yes, the windows symbol in the lower left is just a blank circle as is the OK button in the lower right. I'm sure calc will get it fixed in future releases. I'm trying a 23409 kitchen build...almost finished!

I don't have the Windows start button (lower left) or OK button (lower right) working correctly in 23409. I have empty circles with no text.

Re: [ v3 9-10 ] [ 23047 \ 23409 \ 23017 \ 21054 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROM

How do I get this kitchen to reset my selections for Packages (i.e. I'd like to revert to default settings?

Even if I exit the kitchen, delete the .erv file, and restart - it remembers my last selections.

Short of deleting and re-extracting the kitchen, is there a way to reset the selections?

thanks

It does not work with WM 6.5.1 builds, which 23409 and 23047 are). You could use one of the older builds (like 23017 or a newer com2 build 21854) You can find 21854 here. If you use that, you'll probably need to recmod some things, put it in the proper folders in calk's kitchen, and select it when you build a new ROM. To find out what to recmod, read the slot 0 thread at everythingdiamond.info 'chef's corner' forum.

Those are controlled by the packages.txt you'll see in the kitchen. To get the defaults that calk has in his kitchen, you'll have to re-extract.

I tried fixing this by selecting a different theme, but now have the bottom half of the screen (the scrollable area) white and unresponsive to touches.

Re: [ v3 9-10 ] [ 23047 \ 23409 \ 23017 \ 21054 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROM

NOTE: TO EVERYONE THAT IS HAVING IMAGE ISSUES. I compared some of calks 23047 files, to that of the 23047 build that i downloaded from xda, and im almost positive some of his files are corrupted. Thats why were getting certain issues like that. Calk needs to double check certain files and correct them. I somewhat corrected it, and there looking/working fine, however, now the start menu screen is messed up. Need more time to look at it.

Try popping the SIP up and down (or soft reset). I think that error is caused by the manila loader. I see it quite often when turning manila on/off.
