I found this information that might help you. I followed directions and Live Mesh installed fine.

   2. x64 systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v3.1\SDK\bin\wce400\armv4
4. Copy the 2 cab (not the dev one) files to your device and run them to install

3.9 is still running strong after a couple of days and since I've loaded everything I plan to use:

fyi- spb Pocket Plus gets frozen when you use the "save to any folder" dialog. Without that, and having already grabbed the essential "alt-tab.exe" I will prob uninstall it. WOW! I thought that their save to any folder was indespensible but now I find myself barely using it.
So far that's the only "bug" I've been able to create and it won't really even matter anymore.

a general question, can a rom be download straight from the phone using opera, unzip it and then flash it right from the internal memory 4gb all this with out . Everytime i have to depend on a pc to do all this.

You just made my day. I was just gripeing with someone about how out of all the apps for the iphone, I want the music recognition software. Had no idea there was one for the Diamond! Works great. Thanks.
