Re: [12-01-08] Juicy ROM 3.9 [SYS OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972.1.2.7] [UC]

just got the nads to go for the raphael radio (ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Diamond/Users/Jug...hipped%20D.rar) and the new Juicy3.9. I'm on Spint's Diamond up in NorthEast, US.
Juicy, you get props for all the hard work and I can say that it has only slowed slightly since installng all my personalizations (email, progs, etc)

One thing that I miss is hsving HTCAlbum as the default viewer for pics AND video instead of pimg.exe
I would appreciate any info on switching it back because this is the best ROM I've used to date.

Ok.. about the keyboard thing, forget it Juicy... it seems that it was my Resco Keybord Pro that was acting wierd... all is good now that i removed Resco Keyboard. Opera works flawlessly

Re: [12-01-08] Juicy ROM 3.9 [SYS OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972.1.2.7] [UC]

i wasn't happy that this release had Auto backlight broken (is not working), but found this software over at XDA which works much better than windows mobile default auto backlight. It has work without bugs with juicy 3.9 and the wizard to set the dim and max light on any condition is excellent. auto backlight is broken in this 3.9 release but this is a quick fix.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450318

also if you want the windows orb back it only takes a minute to get it back. if anyone needs help let me know

Juicy,

So far this is my favorite ROM. Awesome.

The only thing I could find is that the keyboard does not work for me in emails.(the little the keyboard, FULL QWERTY works fine)

Thx again Juicy

Something you may have set after the install or maybe you didn't hard reset cause as of yesterday at 9pm Pacific coast time..... no problems at all... including opera. And if the keyboard doesnt pop-up... not being mean or anything but... press the soft-button

If your backlight is on-z-fritz (or disabled), I recommend glight. I found it over at xda-dev.
Personally, I'm ok with a little less battery life for the effect thst this does properly. Then again, battery life will depend on how you set it up.

Re: [12-01-08] Juicy ROM 3.9 [SYS OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972.1.2.7] [UC]

Damn JuiceMan,

With all these complaints i woulda quit doin this for the public a long time ago. Just to Let you know people out there DO realize how much ****tier the Touch Diamond was and how much you have helped.... I'd say retire at 3.9 and take over some of those stupid shmucks jobs at HTC. =)

For the record:
No bugs for, opera running great and FAST...much fewed grey/white blocks on refresh, TouchFLO running awesome, fix for light sensor which consumes much less energy is LUMOS, and I myself am retiring ROM updates unless something drastic comes along. A pat on the back to you Juicy!

think i gonna look into some o' dem radio roms..... hehhe
