Re: *UPDATED* [11-09-08] Juicy ROM 3.1 [SYS OS 5.2.19965 Build 19972.3.1] [UC]

flashed 3.1 also - nothing at all wrong with it. There's no "speed" issues at all....if there is a speed difference between the sys files, you gotta be pretty picky to notice them....

youtube fixed, radio still works....booya.

kickass...I'm downloading now

Remember, it is suggested that after flashing your phone, you hard reset it just in case.

I've found that it helps.

No issues at all using 3.1. Everything seems fast and snappy.

I know there aren't many ppl using this, but for those that do want to use SSMAPA in Juicy 3.1, it IS possible using the workaround found here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=208

You just have to unsign the two files listed in that workaround and replace them after running SSMAPA.

Good news for ppl who want to remap the TF home screen buttons on Juicy 3.1. I can confirm that it does work.

Maybe it's just a hair slower, but for whatever reason it feels much slower to me.
I think you have probably run PIMBACKUP to restore your Phone book.. after u do it, the phone is slow.. this is normal behavior, until you reset your phone. I have sprint Diamond too, 3.1 just works fine.

Just a suggestion,

Would it be possible for cookers to keep a list posted of known and suspected bugs/issues for their current rom? Unless something like that already exists?

For someone like me that will flash and then look at updating 6+ months from now it would be a big help.

Thumbs up Re: *UPDATED* [11-09-08] Juicy ROM 3.1 [SYS OS 5.2.19965 Build 19972.3.1] [UC]

3.1 is working great for me, so far no issues. You Tube works well, Touchflo3d is smooth and quick IMO. I absoultely Love the addition of FM radio in 3.0. Reception is really good and there doesn't seem to be a huge impact on battery life. I haven't tested the BT yet but I will pair with my TT Go 920 later today and see how it goes.

Juicy, you and your team of cooks (of which there are so many, I won't start to try to mention them all, because for sure, I would miss someone) have done an amazing job.

My Diamond is my first WIMO and I feel that your ROM is HANDS Down better than Telus'

This forum reminds me of an old movie where everyone seemed to be always waiting for the Juice, and never happy until they got it. Well, we all have our Juice in 3.1 . . for now=D>
