JUICY 8 - Build 090922V: Keyboard options, phone pad, freezing

I think the QWERTY has been the only available option that works with custom ROMs. I have used the Touch PRO and Touch Diamond ROMs and neither has had anything but. I like the keypad with T9 personally, but there was something where it would only output numbers.

Or something like that. I'm far from an expert.

In other news, I was not able to re-create my phone speaking warnings and emails to me.

i've had juicy roms in the past (i believe in the 3-4 series) and they had all three pads available and functioning, phone(which i used), compact qwerty and qwerty

unfortunately attempting to install any other third party sips makes my diamond lockup at initial boot, then all i can do is hard reset...

Oh. I'm late to the party, I've only used Juicy 6/7 on the TouchPRO and the phone pad only did numbers. With Juicy 8 on the Diamond and I was unable to find 'em at all.

I'll be happy once we get past the SIP freeze or people start buying TouchPRO2's like gangbusters so I can get a TouchPRO for dirt cheap or Sprint releases a Diamond2...or TouchHD2. Dreams come true.

When Leo comes out you will want it instead. I know I will

I think I am going to reinstall 8_090723V. I don't care for the bottom task bar and some other changes such as the volume change screen or the pop up bar at the top.

Also for some reason the g-censor is not working with this latest version. AND I still cannot find where to enter the owner info.

Leo is on bad Mama-Jama (TouchHD2).

I planned on going back to an older ROM just to save face as I didn't want to play anymore with the current ROM in all its quirks, but ended just sticking with it. I actually like the bottom buttons; easier to use for me. The task manager was the only stickler as you had to tap it just right in order to get it to open up.

Oh there's a post on how to enter your information. You have to do something in the registry (delete two keys), do a soft reset and it will show up.

Found it here and it worked for me.

That is great. Thanks for the tip regarding the registry.
