I posted a cab "showacoAllTabs_BGv2.2.cab" a few pages back that I use to get backgrounds on all tabs but someone said it messed up facebook for them. I dont use facebook so have had no issues but use at your own risk let me know if you need a repost. Whats lame is I only use it to make the background straight black in portrait/landscape but oh well what ever works.

I just joined the BB Tour club as well. I have always been a WM user from the PPC6700- Mogul - Touch - Diamond. and i thought a change is necessary.
Also love the fact that it supports GSM networks since it will come in handy during the international trips. The track ball is a little sticky though im not sure if its just me or do you have the same issue. On web pages its really sensitive but on the home page sometimes it doesnt scroll.

how good is this rom on battery life. i've went thru like 8 roms in the past 3 days. i want one tht doesnt freeze with good battery life. i'll charge my phone all night and it dies within 5 hours of barely any use. i'll txt on it thats it....any suggestions?

To be honest, all roms can only do so much(ppc+usage=crappy battery life) and in the end most roms give you about the same battery life. Juicy roms are good on battery and you will see improvements over the stock rom. Some roms are configured to poll the battery less often so it will appear like you have better battery performance, but the meter will catch up eventually! If you are only getting 5 hrs, with light usage, than you clearly have a battery issue. The other thing is by flashing over and over, the battery is not recalibrating so you really will not know it's true performance if you keep switching roms every day. You really almost have to flash a rom a keep it for a few days and charge cycles to really determine how it performs. Couple things though to improve battery out of the gate:
1. Activesync, if you are using, set it to a longer duration or only push email when you need.
2. turn beam off in settings>system>connections
3. turn off auto backlight and lower the display which will use less power.
4. make sure the phone is set to go in sleep mode in under 1 minute. your phone only uses like 13ma of power with the display off and 75-93ma on.

I use my phone moderately and after 9 hrs or so I still have 40% or more. Hope this helps.

I'm on a different ROM using rhodium with the tachi dialer, I have this issue as well and i make a lot of long distance calls. It's been driving me crazy. Can someone please post if you've had any success in resolving this issue. I've checked the registry and phone settings and everything looks fine. If I switch back to an older S2A the buttons on the people page don't work. Please please help with this, a cab fix would be ideal as I don't really want to re-flash my phone. Big thanks to anyone who can help!!

Is this just me or theetering doesn't work with this release? I know i don't use it often, but it always worked since Juicy introduced it, but i tried today, and althrough it was saying connected through USB connection, and i saw an IP address on my PC, the internet connection didn't came through... anyone else? I will try flashing an older rom that i remember it worked to see if it's something that is now broken.
