Re: TV-Out project for GSM and CDMA Diamonds?

open the Audio dongle that came with your Diamond, Cut the blue wire. Buy a 3.5mm to A/V cable and plug it into the 3.5MMjack... and you're done

Im Gonna take wild guess and say you need to be able to choose the proper mode for your tv? PAL/NTCS? without that your phone wont know what to do.
Idealy the diamond should work just like the pro seeing how most of the internal specs are simliar... except that there CPU is slightly newer.
I dunno i could be wrong but a comparassion shows that they are pretty much the same lol.

Re: TV-Out project for GSM and CDMA Diamonds?

Sometimes you also have to swap the red and yellow cables when you plug them in. this is using the connector that came with the Diamond.( when you cut the blue wire guys)

just an FYI

Re: TV-Out project for GSM and CDMA Diamonds?

just trying out the diamond's nuerom 206 and if you go look in start-settings-system you will find at the very bottom "Video Out".

click on it and you get "tv out cable is needed to output to an external display", well i dont have a tv out cable for my diamond so i have no idea where you can go from here.

Re: TV-Out project for GSM and CDMA Diamonds?

eh i dunno groove maybe you should switch the order of those two! might be easier for someone already with a wire to try the nuerom app, before I go nuts splicing those little wires
