TV-Out project for GSM and CDMA Diamonds?
 

Hey, I know that the Touch Pro and Diamond are like 90% similar under the hood, both for the 7201a(GSM) and 7501a(CDMA) phones, and to that end I have to wonder if it's possible to make the Diamonds TV-out capable?

Also, has anyone on here begun working on such a project?

im going to be starting this project as soon as this damn tv out cable gets here lol


i have some ideas. i know the cdma pro has the tv out too :) so we will see if its possible.

I have my TV-Out cable. I have done a bit of testing but nothing yet. Any ideas on what to try?

i thought this was not possible b/c the jack on the diamond does not have video-out?? I thought it was discussed in another thread somewhere, maybe on XDA. I thought it was more of a hardware issue.

we are hoping we got the guts, literally. cant lay the dog to rest until some one puts some effort into it.
