Anyone get this to stop roaming on an Alltel Network? All my data stops when roaming. Also how would I get it to have Alltel in the preferred System settings? Or just get it to Alltel altogether with no sprint options ?

i guess i'm also floating in the same boat. Still shows Digital roaming.. PLEEEASSSEE someone get/make/*borrow* an alltel radio for the diamond. you will be rewarded!!!!!!

Blasted flashing triangle!! PM your city and state (or location of the Alltel tower you are using) and I will send you the proper configs to kill the triangle. I have not tried this method on any handset other than a sprint 6800 mogul that was flashed to Alltel, but I am sure the same applies to similar handsets.

ok guys i have a problem. i have done everything that you guys mentioned to do in a flash from a sprint htc touch pro to alltel services. i used the msl grabber, and used qpst to change the msl to 000000, thats all set and stone and correct. after correcting the msl i took it down to that alltel store and its still not working. he tries the flash over and it continues to say incorrect ESN.... anybody have a workaround or any ideas? thanks

Read that to get to alltel PRI file. so it will get rid of the roaming issues then.

Hello...
I'm just wondering if everyone is getting 1x instead of evdo (and especially reva). I'm only getting 1x and I assumed it is because of the roaming issue. Of course, I'm one of the people that flashed and tried to activate before changing the msl and all that. That could have something to do with it, too.
The phone works fine and data works fine. It's just slow as crap.

youre gonna want to see the radios thread. the first post hasnt been updated since January, so see the last couple pages for the newest radios.

oh, and here for radios that work well in certain locations (but this thread has also not been updated with some of the newer radios).

I've scanned through both of those. I'm using the radio that, I believe, you posted.

I'm using the shipped alltel rom and radio that I downloaded from here.
As far as the area, none of those are anywhere near me (Branson, MO).
I'm getting about 30KB/sec on downloads. When I'm not online, the icon is EV, but when I am online, the icon is 1x. I was getting 100KB/sec on my alltel branded touch. I'm guessing that it has to do with it being a sprint phone on alltel's network. I know there are multiple settings in my sprint diamond's epst that aren't in a friend's alltel touch pro.
