Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I've been reading pages and pages about the radio upgrade...
Is there a step by step guide of what to do? seems easy but I'm more concerned with the backing up of MIP settings or whatever.
I am on Sprint and want to install the Telus radio...what are the changes that I need to make, if any, when I flash?
thanks in advance...

yes. the radio will stay the same unless you flash back to a shipped rom.

Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I also flashed the TELUS Radio. No problems on a SPRINT DIAMOND for me either. Tried it because my phone is constantly hot, I live right on the edge of EDVO range, don't even have one bar with the stock sprint radio. I get 2 with the TELUS radio, not sure if this will solve any problems for me or not but thought it was definately worth the try... I'll report back when I have used it a bit to see if there is a noticable improvement for me or not.

Also I might add that it did NOT hard reset my phone after the upgrade. Not sure if this is good or bad but my phone just took the flash like any old ROM flash, rebooted and started working, everything in tact.

Thanks for the Radio!

I read this site and it made me feel a lot safer about doing it. Check it out for a little further understanding about flashing this.

1.07.01 Telus Radio is on some of the people's TP. wonder if someone smarter than me can guide them on extracting it out of their phones.
Waiting for a new toy.
It seems that Juicy is running it on his phone, but I don't think we will see any more releases from him.
