It's really up to you. I personally have tried all of the radios. Currenlty using the one you mentioned above. It works well. Many in this thread feel this one and the Telus radio are good. You can always go back since the stock Sprint radio is listed on the first Page. But make sure to read and know how to flash properly.

EDIT: Here is the actual link to the file:

Does this update have the 1.04.05 or 1.07.01 radio?

Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I have just flashed the Sprint 1.03.15F to my Diamond on Sprint, and so far the phone reception is noticably better, and the data seems a little faster as well. I had flashed the Verizon 1.03.03, and didn't notice a lot of difference over the stock Sprint. The Sprint Raphael didn't require a hard reset either, where the Verizon did. I have always had problems at work with phone reception, but right now this new radio seems to be just what I needed.

I must have done something wrong, but I lost all my data and stuff when upgrading my radio. I followed the steps used to flash a new rom, and I ended up losing my stuff . I think I did it the wrong way, haha D:.

Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I have been flashing Juicy ROMs for telus CDMA (I am at 3.7 now). Do they include the new Radio or is that a separate install? Is possible to just flash the radio with new telus radio or does one have to install the whole ROM?

i moved this over to this thread so we arent discussing this in Juicy rom thread. Hope this helps.

yes. this rom update is just the radio rom update. There are two roms, one that is for the radio which is the one I posted and one for the actual rom that runs the device. They are independent although they are setup the same way to flash. so as I mentioned, the telus radio rom update will only update your radio rom, it will then soft reset the phone and you will be good to go. However, if you flash the stock sprint radio 1.00.00f or the leaked sprint tp 1.00.04f or the verizon leaked radio, they will also hard reset your phone after the radio rom installs. not to confuse you but 1.03.15f and the newest telus radio rom 1.04.05v will not hard reset your phone, the other 3 will. Does this makes sense because I think i confused myself haha.

FYI, it's not the radio version which hard resets your phone or not, it's the way it's packaged. You can add the radio rom .nbh file to the custom RUU linked here, and it shouldn't hard reset regardless of radio version:
