Re: [UPDATED OCT 31st New Radio] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread
I decided to try this.
I installed a rogue program that ate my battery and heated the phone up something terrible and the battery drained although it was plugged into my notebook "charging" o: After stopping that I was streaming Sirius by bluetooth and again the phone got pretty hot. I was hoping this would be magic fix but it wasn't ): I went from the 1.00.00F Sprint to the 1.03.03V Verizon radio and it's just as hot )': And the battery is still draining. I'll see how it behaves tomorrow during work hours. Dern. I wish I had read a couple more pages before flashing. It's charging at 440mA and Draining at 560mA.

Re: [UPDATED OCT 31st New Radio] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread
well it seems pretty clear that this thread died down a good bit. I am sticking with the stock radio for now as I have not seen any improvements with the others. Granted I used both for short time period but my benchmark was to see if I could get a better signal in my house which didnt happen. Thanks again for the other radios provided!

): I didn't see a noticeable difference in battery life. I was down to 20% by 3pm.
Not sure on the reception either. No more bars. Heat though does seem a touch better. It's warm, but a warm I can live with. Not sure how you guys are measuring idle current. When I first turn on the screen it shows about 87mA before going to 166mA. The latter seems to be the norm. |

Re: [UPDATED OCT 31st New Radio] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread
Hmm I just realized from playing Kevtris that the right touch pad button on my Diamond is kinda off.. I need to reflash to the stock radio, does anyone know where I could find a copy of it? I am running the VZW one right now and dont think Telus would be too understanding about that.

Doh, looks like I will have to hold on to it a little longer then.. its not a real problem since I barely use the D-pad anyways..
