so flashing a RADIO from the internal storage does NOT cause hard reset (please confirm)

Re: Flashing a rom from the 4 gig storage

Juggalo said that flashing the radio rom initiates an automatic hard reset in another thread. So I would treat a radio flash just like an os flash and make sure things are backed up. (have not confirmed this myself though) though now that I think of it when he mentioned that he used the active sync method of flashing so maybe the internal storage method works differently (since the button combination is slightly different) I just relocked my diamond for sending back, but I will see about testing this if I get time tonight after the wife goes to work.

Re: Flashing a rom from the 4 gig storage

Tried both methods, While flashing between the tri colour screen and a grey screen, it looks like it said Triggering bootloader mode as well as, Detceting (something I can't make out). But then its settles on the tri colour screen. What did i mess up on

This is what i did,
Re Named the RUU_signed to DIAMIMG.nbh, place on root of internal Mem

Method #1
Power+Vol Down+Back Space+eset botton

Method #2
Power Off, Vol Down+Back Space+Power Down

The only thing I can think of is your internal storage may have been corrupted, or its not registering the backspace key or something. since your trying to flash, try hard reseting, then try flashing....though if it said detecthing, I think you did the combination right... wait a sec did you unintentionally rename it DIAMIMG.nbh.nbh? because if you renamed it on the winmo phone from the file explorer you wouldnt see the extentions normally. if you look at your internal storage and you see DIAMIMG.nbh instead of just DIAMIMG then you probably actually renamed it DIAMIMG.nbh.nbh

yea thats more the TP forum, but rename the nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh on your sd card and it should work, just make sure you unlock the tp using the tp unlocker and not the diamond one.

thanks for the reply, put it on the root of the sd card, and get the phone to the tricolor screen and it should work automatically as long as I have the renamed .nbh file?

that sounds easy enough.

I will try that later on.
thanks for your help
