How is 2.7 compared to 2.5?

I skipped 2.6 because of a lot of bug reports.

I have the same problem. I'm often in a loud, busy environment where I don't notice a new SMS only to realize a while later that the phone has been awake sucking precious battery life.

While running Juicy 2.4.1 [sprint], I tried the diamond tweak as well as manually changing the reg value of DisableSMSWakeUpEvent to 1 but neither change took effect. Has anyone managed to disable SMS Wake Up with the Juicy Rom? If so, how?

I like the ROM a lot (thank you Juicy!) but this is an issue for me.

hopefully we can get an official Juicy 2.7 ROM thread. This one is at 154 pages and while it has a lot of info that would transfer to 2.7, it seems to be getting hard for the newer cats to sift through all the pages.

Yeah it would be nice if we got a new thread for 2.7! (or maybe wait for 3.0..)

Wasn't posted yet. Also probably won't get a new thread as the moderators wanted to keep them to a single thread. Maybe if he does a 3.0 release but pretty sure he was asked by teh mods to keep 2.7 here.

I like the ROM a lot (thank you Juicy!) but this is an issue for me.

Every Juicy ROM I've tried has the device wake on SMS (registry changes have no effect). It's frustrating considering I don't have any sort of device lock on my Diamond, and thus have pocket dailed because of a new SMS.
