not that i know of. it doesn't matter. that prl is so old. its even older then the base PRL for telus that HTC gives out in there radio updates. 11075 is the newest im on it, as well as my treo, the touch rev a is on it as well (it comes withthe rom

) and when i had mt s640 it was also on 11075 after an update.

if your close to a tower you wont lotivce much.

myself , am not close to a tower and ev was sketchy in my area and was not even there at home.

with the new prl i am getting faster ev speeds and ev signal at home now. must be on a different tower now

It's always good to have the latest list since it gives the best probability for best signal (I hope)

true. most recent roaming list is the better one. i just dont knwo why telus shipped these with such an OLDDDDDD prl on them and then disabled the OTA updates.

one advantage to the prl that some may see and some may not is battery, if the device can find a closer preferred tower then that's better on the radio, and there for in therory better on battery. again this depends on the signal in your area.

whats the SPL code that i need to use initially when updating this.

Also, what is my unlock code?

SPL is the unlock code. There is an application you can download that will give you your SPC based on your ESN.

Stock prl is 4085, Telus also blocks over the air PRL updates to the diamond. but you can update the prl via EPST (##778#)

New prl is 5075 im on it now and it works.

*Updated* New prl is 11075 and it also works. Is labeled PPC and appears to be latest.

How to update your PRL:

Code:

Dial ##775# and enter your SPL code.
 
 select update PRL and then click menu > edit. 

 brows to the prl file on your phone and select it then click menu > ok.
 
 it will ask you if you want to apply changed click yes. 

then click ok to reboot.

UPDATING ANYTHING IN EPST IS ALWAYS AT YOUR OWN RISK

Do both the attached files need to be installed first

I think this is bad, This was displayed ( X Turn on LPM failed. Press to reset device )
