Telus REV A PRL ID 5075, ID 11075 and ID 8085 (latest) Update [*Updated*]

i have the latest telus rev a PRL

Stock prl is 4085, Telus also blocks over the air PRL updates to the diamond. but you can update the prl via EPST (##778#)
PRL 5075 works.

PRL 11075 also works. Is labeled PPC

*Updated* New PRL is 08085 it is tested and working, appears to be latest. Thanks to Money_32

How to update your PRL:

Dial ##775# and enter your SPL code.
 
 select update PRL and then click menu > edit. 

 brows to the prl file on your phone and select it then click menu > ok.
 
 it will ask you if you want to apply changed click yes. 

then click ok to reboot.

UPDATING ANYTHING IN EPST IS ALWAYS AT YOUR OWN RISK

its the latest EVDO roaming list.

for example im getting one extra bar of signal in my office now on this. ill be super excited if i get a strong evdo signal at my house this evening. i used to bounce between ev and 1x

Wanted to report im getting better EVDO speeds in my area then before. about a 400kbps increase consistently im happy

On Telus is that any different then dialing #ACT03 and selecting 2 to download the updated roaming list?

It would be, but updating the PRL that way doesn't currently work on the Diamond (At least for me).

why TELUS block the update? Is this PRL update is good, like i live in quebec, will i benefit the REVA?

nope that would require us to modify a ppst updater and we are really not into that. not to mention it would be redundant after the first time u flashed our rom with it in it anyways. so just follow my instructions and use what ever prl works better for you.
