OK I installed the Stock ROM, then Flashed to Mighty ROM 4.8, and did a full restore with my SPB backup file... But now in the Device information, my ROM version is back to MightyROM 4.7??

any ideas??

You need to create your mailbox before restoring the msg. This is how it alawys worked for me.

If you looked back a page you'd see that I had the exact same problem

I solved it by setting up an email account first

If you do a restore from a backup, it will show the rom version of the backup and not what you have currently flashed, but it has not effect on your device. I have 4.0 flashed but it still shows 3.7 on my phone.

Just loaded 4.8, restored via PIMBackup, haven't run into any issues, except for the new IE ( both in 4.7+4.8 ) not displaying www.excite.com correctly.
IE in 4.5 worked fine.

It looks like this with the fix. So you dont get any text cut off. It works only on ROMS that have a 21xxx or higher sys unless its cooked in the kitchen. I could be wrong. On previous ROMS less than 21xxx it never worked for me and Mightys ROM is the only one that it works partially with a cab install.

Thanks for the reply, I think I will just reinstall everything.. Screw it.. I will just use PimBackup from now on for my contacts and such.. Guess I will just reinstall all my cabs with sashimi, but then the question is, how do I get my Reg files? or does Sashimi automatically save those..

Man I leave for two days and get my phone how I like it assuming 4.7 was gonna be it then you go and release 4.8. I think I will wait a bit. lol
