Mike - have you considered using Squeezer 1.1 to compress EXE's in your ROM to speed up loading of applications?

I tested that new Youtube and wow it's crap. Bad video quality, bad speed, looks worse, and sluggish.

Suggestion to everyone - DON'T INSTALL IT!

I installed it, then quite quickly uninstalled it - now the default Youtube app that I had before is gone as well. So that brings me to my next question - anyone have the cab for the newest Youtube that was built into the ROM? I really don't want to hard reset till 4.7 drops just to get Youtube back to the way it was.

Funny thing is, now my battery life is terrible. I usually don't expect the best battery life after flashing a ROM, but it's been a couple days so I started to get suspicious. So I started checking things out with Battery Monitor. While running 4.6 previously I'd idle at about 75mA. Now the lowest I idle at is 129mA. I haven't changed a thing since coming back to Mighty. Before making the switch back, I flashed to shipped. Then after flashing Mighty I hard reset as usual. I did however, use SPB backup to restore all my settings and programs (from my previous run of Mighty 4.6). Perhaps that screwed something up.

Anyway. This certainly isn't a knock against Mightyrom. Obviously I screwed something up here. I'm going to try to hardreset again and see how my power drain is. If that doesn't fix it I'll have no choice but to conclude that WM6.5 gave my phone AIDS.
Uncheck "Recieve incoming beams".

Ditto and ditto. I posted up the cab based on Mike's post, but after installing and running the new version, it's crap. Everything that OrBy said plus...the app stays in landscape mode not just while watching a video, but until you completely exit the app.

I haven't checked yet, but I take OrBy's word about the original app being gone....some PLEASE post the cab for the one that is cooked into 4.6. Thanks!!

Edit: OK, this is weird. When I select "Remove Programs", the only YouTube app in the list is Google YouTube. But this is not the YouTube Mobile that Mike was refering to and that I posted the cab for. That is a mobile version of YouTube released by YouTube themselves and it doesn't show up as an installed app in the Remove Programs list. I didn't uninstall the Google YouTube app, so it still shows up on my Internet tab and opens the original app.

I installed the new youtube and uninstalled it 10 seconds later too...total piece of crap. But it reverted back to the previous youtube with no errors. Weird.

I have not had any problems with 4.6 other than the album weirdness (No SIP freezes). This is a testament to the Mighty ROM that I have not felt a burning desire to flash for over two weeks! Once the album issue is fixed (using finger swipes again) I will be one contented MSR user.

Thanks to Mike and Rico for all their efforts.

LOL im surprised at the amount of people who use this feature. Why would you want to recored your cellphone conversations? i have done it for strictly business purposes but I just used the voice recorder and used a typical handset with a speaker phone. Very curious about the dubious possibilities of this feature.
