Ok, it seems like it was my Push email -- turns out my exchange server was down and/or intermittent so I tried turning off push email. Suddenly the battery seemed to return to normal. I am going to test it out again today (fingers crossed), but I am still surprised by the power drain if it was just the exchange server acting weird!!

I've reflashed so many times I decided to flash back to stock before I went to 4.5; just to clean things up. OMG! I have gotten spoiled! I forgot how slow the Diamond used to be.

Thanks Mike, this is a completely different phone with your ROM's.

I think this is a fine idea. There is a TON of info on this thread and it can be hard to sort through if you're fairly new to the game as I am. Multiple threads would really clean things up.

question, I did a hard reset on my phone (from groove rom) and then flashed to mighty's, should I have flashed to the stock rom first, THEN to mightys? (or does it not matter?)

its better to but you don't have to.

But now you should clear the storage so you have a clean install (this is after you have flashed mighty's).

i have tried to see what im doing wrong but no matter which way i extract it gives the same error. where can i download the ruu package
