I don't know about everyone in this thread, but from the looks of it, most of us aren't using Juicy's rom, so you probably want to keep questions related to problems with his roms in that thread.

I can say my GPS works as good as any standalone unit using a ROM I made from this kitchen.

Since I'm contemplating creating my own rom, I thought input on this matter from TobeyChris who I consider an expert might be of value. I have posted this info over at Juicy's thread. Interestingly, another poster is having the exact same problem.

I also tried deleting ceipui.exe, but that gave me errors on boot -- but that was before the dummycustat.dll, so maybe I should try again with the changes. Neither worked for me. Could you please help me out? I want to remove it from sys 19965.1.2.3. Thanks.
I still haven't had any luck with this yet. Anyone know how to remove customer feedback?

The thing is that during a call center select on the dpad is like pressing talk to open a 2nd line or to pick up an call that is in call waiting.

You can test it yourself in any program, put a selection over something like file explorer press volume up a few times and that thing will get selected/executed. And if you press center select on the dpad it won't work most of the time.
Yeah, I see what you are saying. I don't think I had this problem on 20931. Since I'm not using bluetooth for anything these days, I may flash back to my 20931 rom. I really couldn't find much fault in 20931 and the battery life was great.

Re: How To: Kitchens

The volume up issue doesn't occur with the new kitchen for me.

Thanks for the update.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Quick curious question, what phone did the 20931 SYS come out of or what are its origins? Not asking for any particular reason just want to know the geek history behind it. Maybe I'm a bit drunk for it being a tuesday late at night. I really hope I click my check marks in Build OS correctly. Don't drink and flash kids!! Wish me luck!

Re: How To: Kitchens

Just cooked a ROM under the new kitchen (v5, SYS 20931 v5a, OEM 2.03). It's looking smooth and stable so far. Only snag I've run in to is with dotfred's task manager. Normally after I reflash, I load up that task manager, stop tmail.exe, and run pim backup to get my texts and call logs back. But the task manager is stalling upon opening. I've never seen that happen before... Anyone else notice this? It restored fine, but something is causing the program to lag...

EDIT: Bluetooth is NOT working. Getting an error "There is no Bluetooth hardware installed on this device." Sucks because everything else seems so good with this kitchen. Since I live in California, I have to use a bluetooth headset in the car. Guess I have to go back to my old ROM. Boo.

HAHAHA!!! I didn't brick my phone but I fell asleep while it flashed and booted and it stayed in the "Tap here to configure..." screen. So I woke up late (no alarms and missed 3 calls in the morning about a customer's e-mail server being down). ****!!
