Re: How To: Kitchens

The last letter is the latest revision, and should therefore be most stable.
ie: 20924 v2d is the most stable 20924 SYS released.
20755 v2b is the most stable 20755 SYS released.

As for OEMs... there isn't much in terms of stability... normally newer apps are better, but once in a while there turns out to be a bug in them, but OEM folders are easily swappable, so you can just take the older one in most cases, drop it in, and it will work.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Thanks. I got everything I use working with 2.03, 20924v2d and OEM 1.05(!).
TouchFlo is the fastest I've seen yet. I think I can leave it alone for now (:

Hey Tobey, it looks like the SprintTV issue has to do with the OEM folders. OEM 1.05 works, but the later folders give the 7004 error for Sprint users.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Hi fellow ppc-fiends,

Why might I want to use the module versions given in steps 1, 2, and 3 on the first page rather than the latest versions? I notice it was updated recently, so what's the deal?

Re: How To: Kitchens

ok - I have another question. I just used the latest versions to cook and ROM and I'm not being sent to the RUU after running "Build My ROM." Is there something wrong? I'm affraid that a critical step would have been missed if I flash now (like G'Reloc maybe). Any help would be awesome.

It opens the pagepool changer first, then ruu. Did you run the PP changer?

Re: How To: Kitchens

no, I didn't. Was the "build my rom" function supposed to end without taking me into pagepool changer or the ruu? Also, shouldn't I have created an .nbh? I can't find one. Just a base.nb...

EDIT: I'm an idiot

That is weird. It should take you to the PP changer then RUU. It does make an nbh file in the ruu folder.
