Re: [UPDATED 9/25/08] v1.3 WDM's 2D Diamond ROM

WDM,

Just a couple thoughts on your ROM

1) with the clean versions is it possible to up the pagepool to 20+, might not seem to make much of a difference but with the clean versions and the prior mentioned issues with the Audio Player it might help

2) with either clean or full it is possible to up the Glyphcache to the 8K mark - again to help out with some of the memory issues some people have mentioned

it may or it may not help tremendously but saves from having to regedit each flash as well as may boost the performance and audio issue at the same time, just a thought.

thanks

Detroit Doug

Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

its because a. there is a new dll in the cab, or b. because there are reg mods coming from the cab to change the settings

Hmmm...I am a bit confused. I was just about to flash my diamond because so many people here are saying it improves preformance and battery life a lot. But why does Juicy have "massive battery drains issue" here?

the cab i provided has the reg mods needed. i swear i tested it and ogt it working. it must be the dll that he benefited from.

If it's left on idle it will "leak" battery power, it's not noticeable at first, after a couple hours of not using it it drops like 10%, for me at least.

Would you still recommend I flash my phone to it? or should I wait until Juicy fixes it?

Thx
