no kidding! I just noticed that. Last night, it was over 180 pages. That's a lot of posts missing. Lot of really good information.

I have not had my phone for all that long so I have nothing concrete yet to judge my battery life by but I am using Juicy's 2.4.1 and can make it a full day on one battery with my normal usage. If I plan to be away where there is no way to charge my phone that I plan to purchase another battery. It's just the way things are, get over it or get out of it.
If you read through the posts in the battery life threads here and on printusers, you would know that some people are having far worse battery problems than others. AND many people are having trouble out of the box, but are finding improvement through cycling and by using the suggestions of people on these threads. Maybe this issue doesn't belong in this thread, but its a valid issue to discuss. When I first got the phone, I would hardly use it at all and it would still be dead in 4-5 hours. Through cycling and system changes, its much better now when lightly used, but if I make a 10 minute or more call it heats way up and drains really rapidly. You're lucky, you got a good one, but don't assume the rest of us are just whiners, please.

is there a way to compare battery lot numbers or something? Also, similar to the Blackjack recall a year ago, is there a way to see when each of our phones were made? Could it be a bad batch? Probably not a valid issue but you never know.

Re: [10/06/08] JUICY ROM 2.4.1 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

this is going to sound weird, but can some post the original Opera version that came with the stock ROM? I think I liked that better because I think it allowed you to appear as a mobile device and not a desktop computer and go to the mobile versions of sites. is there a way to change this in he current Juicy version of Opera? Changing to mobile view does not help.

Thanks!

No problemo. I also edited the first post to include the following message:

FYI: the staff at PPCGeeks routinely arhive posts. This process is done in order to reduce the overall size of a particular thread (especially after an update has been provided in a thread) so that finding information is easier. This thread is currently complete and stands at 285+ pages. In a few days posts dated before the 10/06 update will be archived. This archiving does not effect post counts or thanks.

I notified the rest of the staff that I'll be the mod archiving the posts from this thread in the future. I'll just try to archive the posts that are not directly related to the subject.

Does that make sense? Hit me up via pm with any questions or concerns.

late,
Coz
