I have not had my phone for all that long so I have nothing concrete yet to judge my battery life by but I am using Juicy's 2.4.1 and can make it a full day on one battery with my normal usage. If I plan to be away where there is no way to charge my phone that I plan to purchase another battery. It's just the way things are, get over it or get out of it.

If you read through the posts in the battery life threads here and on printusers, you would know that some people are having far worse battery problems than others. AND many people are having trouble out of the box, but are finding improvement through cycling and by using the suggestions of people on these threads. Maybe this issue doesn't belong in this thread, but its a valid issue to discuss. When I first got the phone, I would hardly use it at all and it would still be dead in 4-5 hours. Through cycling and system changes, its much better now when lightly used, but if I make a 10 minute or more call it heats way up and drains really rapidly. You're lucky, you got a good one, but don't assume the rest of us are just whiners, please.
