is there any way that when i press the power bottom that i can also locked the phone aswell like the long end call button feature?

at the gym when its in my pouch it sometimes powers on with the button and starts dialing people?

i've also tired the s2u2 but its is really buggy, not smooth and not 100% reliable.

well ya, go to settings > system > Long Press End Key > "Automatically execute the selected action" and "Lock device" should be selected. Now when u long press the end key, your device will lock. Lock system consists of pressing an unlock button twice on the screen at 2 different locations correspondingly.

This unlock method is very simple, not too fancy, but works like a charm. If you are looking for something fancy, just hope the "wheel to unlock" app will come out soon but I'm sure it will be just as buggy at s2u2 in its early stages.

Although now that i look at it, it almost seems like the screen should have been on the landscape view and not portrait. I just found that you need to hold down the send button for about 2 seconds and then it switches to landscape and you can see the whole screen. or you can use the up/down buttons on the front.

I know of that, but the delay in pressing long end is about two seconds and not very easy when your in a rush.

The answers i'm looking for is maybe when the power is pressed off and when it wakes up again is there a way for the phone to wake up in Locked mode?

I am thinking about using this rom, but need to know a couple of things:
does it have the factory program for sending pictures. what is the storage space and program free space? does opera open pages in normal mode (not mobile view)? under email does it still have a file for recieved pictures? think that is all for now thank you.
PS do I have to unlock the phone first or can I just plug in and install the file?

Try Settings -->Lock --> (check) Prompt if device is unused for--> leave it at 0 minutes and create simple pin
Now everytime your device powers off it will wake up locked

i would then always have to put in a pin which kinda sucks.

Is there any reg edits that i can do so my phones wakes up in locked mode maybe?

Well you could try this prog I been messing with on my phone, not as buggy s2u2 but definitely better, based on the android unlock pattern. It still requires a pin, well not really but here anyways take a look
