Does anyone else find the Long press send button to rotate screen for texting is pretty hit or miss. Half the time it thinks I press the Home button I think and it exits the text screen. And I press in the very bottom left corner.
I think its just a flawed button design though

i notice when i press home my dial pad comes up some times and when i press dial it goes to the home screen instead. i think its just the physical buttons.

Juggalo has mentioned this is a SIP (keyboard) issue. I will disable auto deployment of the SIP in 1.1 .... this should fix your problem. It will still auto deploy the keyboard in Opera though.

Guys the issue with landscape mode and texting is the keyboard. the auto pop up function messes with the rendering. it freaks out and defaults back to Portrait mode.

i have made a registry entry to disable this SIP auto deploy function. so all u have to do is click the keyboard icon after you flip to landscape. it also helps Opera in landscape mode too. To get the keyboard to pop up in opera all you have to do is click a text field.

Rename DisableSIPPopup.zip to DisableSIPPopup.cab and install.
