Re: Lite O.a.T. ROMs | Because lite & O.a.T.s are good for you. | Updated Oct. 31, 20

Well Oat I wanted to thank you for your ROMs and giving me a bit of extra life out of this old phone of mine.

I am however moving to a blackberry in 2 weeks here as the company has decided they want to standardize all phones. As this is a work phone I'm going to have to give it up. I hate to see it go.

Again thank you and keep up the good work.

No, I don't. But if you are using one of my ROMs, wifi and internet sharing are cooked in Start>>System Tools. Last time I checked, they both worked.

Sorry to see you go, as you were a real contributor to this thread. I'll actually be looking at a crackberry too in the next couple of months when I upgrade my phone in January. I just hate the idea of the $10/mo surcharge for a 4G that does not exist in ABQ and their $120/mo everything family plan. Just doesn't compare now to my current family plan at about $80/mo for 3 lines, 2000 minutes, unlimited data, and unlimited text.

My wife has a blackberry she purchased for work. She runs a small accounting firm. After seeing the bill she has to pay every month for hers I'm glad my company provides the phone.

Question Re: Light O.a.T. ROMs - Oct. 27, 2010

I've been using the 2018 21914 ROM and I've been pestering it to come up with the SMS menu bug but it's been perfectly well behaved! No bugs!

I did install Zenyee's Disable HTC Messaging cab (which may or may not have done anything as the Sense sms interface still comes up) which is floating around on xda developers.

Got the kitchen downloaded and incorporated the 21914 (6.5), 23138 (6.5.3), and 23569 (6.5.5) sys's. Now what exactly is the "something new" you would like to try, e.g., a light 2.5.2016 with RSS that can be activated via the Start menu or a quick link? I personally think that is the best version of Sense out there for the Diamond in terms of compatibility and performance. Finally, do you have an old .erv file so I can get an idea of what's been included in your ROMs?

I dont save the roms .erv. Hum, well i can install any apps via cabs the reason i went to you was how good reports and speed of rom. Everytime I tried to "cook" sense 2.5.xxxx into anything the phone would just slow down way to much... I was hoping your rom would give me a new life on this phone. Like you im probably going to android in december and also dont feel like paying $10 for 4G and no 4G availiablity here. So basically just a super lite rom with the minimum files to get sense running smoothly the one you stated 2.5.2016 should be just fine. Thank you again.[/QUOTE]
sorry i thought maybe you forgot about my last post i thought it got lost in the bottom of the page

I think you might like 2016.21681 even better as it is a much newer build with increased speed and smoothness.

I tried something "quick and dirty", and all it yielded was a rom that had too many modules to load. There are a lot of packages in the kitchen that are unfamiliar to me. With the time I have available, this is going to be very slow if I have to research those and ferret out what is necessary. If you know the packages included in your Titanium rom, that would help a lot. LMK.
