Well, neither the fix (Twitter) nor the suggestion (SMS's) worked . I did find a solution to the SMS problem, though. Waiting to see if I get any response from my posting on XDA about the Twitter problem. Thanks for your patience.

Well, I may have found a fix for the Twitter problem, but I'm again in the situation where I cannot take my phone down at all for the next several days to flash/test it. Anybody willing to try it and report back? If so, I can cook it and post it later today. LMK.

By the way, the problem is if the Twitter Tab shows up and can be activated in Settings>>Personalize>>Home screen tabs. It has to do with the Chinese version of this shipped rom not supporting Twitter. Everything else in the rom seems to be working very well and very smoothly, and as others have reported, battery life seems excellent in this HTC specific version of WinMo.

Hmmm, strange. The email tab is kinda wonky on this one. There's no little sheets of paper previewing my emails, just a blank tab. If I switch between accounts I see a flash of one of my emails but it just disappears.

That, I am not seeing. Just the problem with Twitter. You might want to try a soft reset. Can you turn the twitter tab on? Also, I use SKTools to clean up after I install everything, and for some reason this time it was very effective in cleaning up a lot of extraneous registry entries and such.
