Re: Sept. 04, Lt. Sense 2.5.[2012|2016|2018], WM6.[5|5.x], MaxSense, Titanium

I'd like to see a lite rom created for the business person...without all the colors/etc.

The 2018/21914 rom under the V4.0 link in the first post is by far the best business rom I have come across to date. Has almost nothing included except the bare essentials which allows you to only put on what you need for work.

If you need to add microsoft office to the rom, I posted a cab for it a few pages back.

OAT I have been running into one really annoying problem. My hardware volume buttons work only part of the time to control volume. Sometimes they for whatever reason control up and down within the start menu. I have tried doing a hard reset and even did a flash dance to try and correct the problem.

It will work fine and then it will remap the buttons. It takes 2 or 3 soft resets to get the buttons controlling the volume again. Any ideas?

I do have one issue though... I'm running your Lite Sense 23541 ROM and after I answer an incoming call the phone control buttons are shifted down so I'm unable to hit the black keypad button or the red endcall button. Is this a known issue?
Re: phone control buttons. No, that is generally not a problem. Sounds like your phcanvga is not running. Make sure that is running, and all should be well. It is located in windows directory.

Haven't seen this problem. What version of Sense/WinMo are you using? What else have you installed? Anyone else seeing anything like this with the volume buttons?

I did some more playing around... looks like it's a problem caused by the email client I needed to install for work. It pretty much takes over the device... has it's own lock screen that kicks in after 15 minutes of in-activity and it must be messing around with the phone canvas.

I see there is a phone canvas app in the startup directory... does that run the VGA dialer that overrides the default wvga phone canvas baked into the ROM or something? I wonder if I could just setup a mortscript to somehow restart the VGA dialer whenever a call comes in... ugly but it might get me by.

Bit confused here, now. Email client messing with phone canvas? Anyway, the phone canvas executable is titled phcanvga.exe and is located in the windows directory. Hope the mortscript idea works for you.

Yeah, I realized after re-reading my post that it was a bit half baked.

The client is a secure client that encrypts all data that is downloaded onto the phone from exchange, including the contacts. This software ties into the dialer and the contacts... for example if I get an incoming call while the device is locked I can answer the call but my contacts (which are pulled from exchange) are not visible for security purposes. However they integrate that appears to mess up the normal position fix put into place for our VGA devices.

I wonder if there is some kind of VGA dialer that I could load instead of using one that was ported from a WVGA device (I'm assuming the dialer baked into the ROM originated on a WVGA device). That might fix it... although, honestly I'm grasping at straws here.

This dialer is a ported/caller id fixed Leo (HD2) dialer for WinMo 6.5.3. Your best bet for finding a vga dialer that can be cabbed in, I believe, is at xda, though you should also search here at PPCGeeks and at Mobile Underground.

I installed your Maxsense version, and the action button does not work.
