I remember that in WINDOWS folder there was a HTC folder with a TWITTER subfolder with a subfolder called FILES that and the regedits need it for add or remove a "Sence tabs" and the twitter files in windows must be enough to make Twitter appear as a "Twitter tab in Sence" even if you don't active "Twitter tab" in Sence Personalize option. Now that doesn't mean actually that twitter tab will works. I guess that is why we owe O.a.T a

I think I remember that has been there since WM-6.5-Sense-2.5 (not present in old Manila).
I don't use Twitter in the phone (maybe I will start use it now) but those controls I remember doesn't work at all for example "Windows mobile official Facebook application" doesn't be affected by that controls and in fact you need extra FIXES to make addressbook to be integrated with Facebook photo-addressbook.

That image overlapping has been there since the beginning of 6.5.x I forgot that because I was using 6.5 (the one with windows start button up) last 6 moths.

Hey OAT, have you thought about making a twitter account to tweet your progress on roms and uploads ect like NRG does? I have a twitter tab on my phone and i use it to check out the latest roms updates and such so i was wondering if you had one you used for your roms so i could add it.

I've rebuilt the entire 2019 with the same results; no twitter tab and problems with messages. Seems like I am the only one having these problems on 2019, at least that's the feedback I got on XDA. Beginning to think it is the SYS. Going to take a step back and make a 2016/21679 rom with RSS along with the bold and dialer fixes, and a transparency tweak that I was cooking into the 2019/21680, to ensure that my problems have nothing to do with these.

If all goes well there I am going to have to think about how to approach 2019/21680. The most logical way might be to just substitute the bare minimum 2019 packages for the above 2016 rom. That won't be for most of next week as I am on call again, and won't be able to take my phone down for flashing/testing.

I actually have a twitter account, but typically only "listen in". I will consider that after I get past my current problems with 2019/21680.

Yes, you are correct. I've had it for a few days, but haven't looked at it with my 2019/21680 problems. What I may try to do is go from my current 2016/21679 with rss, which is running extremely well, to 2016/21681 with rss. Then if that works, go 2019/21681, although I am really liking the responsiveness/lightness of 2016/216xx w/rss.

Overall, I think I just made too many changes (2019, 21680, transparency tweaks, dialer fix, bold fix) at one time to effectively track down problems. Now that transparency, Leo dialer fix, and bold have checked out on 2016 w/rss, taking a "baby step" with 21681 should allow me to isolate it in either the sys or the sense.

I'm totally an unfamiliar in the cooking a ROM process,
but only a simple thought.
When you cook "Twitter TAB" in the ROM, Do you need to make "regedits" to set that TAB appear as TAB after flashing? It is the case perhaps the "directory address" or the "kind" (dword, string, etc) of values used to set the settings are not correct with this SYS216xx? Sorry my poor English.
I denote(point in) this because I remember had problem when making a regedit
to make Google Maps use "aGPS" instead of "Real GPS" antena, I use the incorrect "kind" of value for "1" and that make the change doesn't apply.

In the past all of the regedits that are necessary have been built into the ported vga packages. When I was looking for help on XDA, no one mentioned anything about new regedits needed and no one is having problems with it showing up like me. And since abrasive did the 2018 port as well as the 2019 port, and I had no problem with 2018, I assumed he did it the same way. Finally, I looked at the tab control manila file and it looked correct. Still, if I have problems on my next go at 2019, I will look into that. But I still figure I have to ensure that I have a good sys.

As an aside, I was "bad" today and took my phone down today for about 15 minutes to flash 2016/21681 w/RSS. It is rocking! Haven't done any real performance or battery tests, but it is at least as fast and smooth as 2016/21679 and I'd expect the same for battery efficiency. I could post this alone and with MaxSense if there is any interest. LMK.
