Re: [Dec.26.09] MysteryROM Kitchen 21887 Sense 2.1 & Sense 2.5

i did a little looking around and I think I got the sms thing figured out. I guess it's related to 2.5 as others are reporting similar issues. I can get it to send and receive but sending is still flaky, depending on what tab i send it from. I tried a bunch of 2.5 roms yesterday and I have to say Mystery looks the greatest!

form:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\YouTube]
"BandWidth"=dword:00000000
"EnableMDP"=dword:00000001

to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\YouTube]
"BandWidth"=dword:00000001
"EnableMDP"=dword:00000000

and it works.
hope that helps anyone who wanted youtube 2.6 to work instead of 1.6.
Youtube 2.6 works in my ROM without changing the registry, the reason I choose 1.6 is because it shows you percentage when loading the video, 2.6 doesn't.

latest kitchen 21887 sense 2.5
SMS works fine for me, as for YouTube, I fixed that and will be fixed in tonights release.

What I tried to say is that There is a shortcut to the .cab of ezt9 in PROGRAMS but then I couldnt see the options if I softreset the device.

Will there be a new version of Mystery ROM????!!!

Edit: I did a little research and found out how to bring the ezt9 options HERE
amikam is right, it causes activesync screen to freeze when added to the ROM.

Well actually the issue that cause YouTube not to work, well in my case, it when you have to many moducules in the ROM, I recmodded all the dlls from sense 2.5 and that fix the problem.

Random question. I don't use some tabs in manila (just disable them) such as twitter, music, and stocks. Is it safe to just disable them in the kitchen to save up space? They take up around 8mb, and having that extra space would be nice since I stuff my phone full of programs!

Well I have done this before for testing purposes but have never kept it long enough to see if it cause any issues with sense itself. Some have to be included in the ROM for Sense to actually boot, but I'm pretty sure what you are trying to do might work.

You can disable them with no problems if you do it the proper way. I've attached my EXT for disabling Footprints and Twitter tabs. If you want to disable more tabs, you need to edit the app.reg (change "Enable"=dword:00000001 to "Enable"=dword:00000000) and delete the tab info in 26948339_manila (can open the file with a text editor...it's a xml). I renumbered the tabs to correspond with the remaining ones, but I'm not sure if that was necessary. Just look at the EXT package and it will probably make sense. Make sure this EXT gets processed after the other manila files (ie put it in zTweaks or somewhere).

Re: [Dec.26.09] MysteryROM Kitchen 21887 Sense 2.1 & Sense 2.5

Hey Myst,

Just wanted to say I've been running a Sense 2.5 rom cooked from your kitchen all week and I'm loving it! I think I'm now a 2.5 convert thanks to you. The only thing I have noticed is when i go to any of the sense settings windows there is a bottom curtain that covers up some of the settings. I'm sure it comes from the port, I'm still getting used to sense. Keep up the great work, your sense kitchen rocks!!

Mystery,

Just wondering, did u add 28014 to this kitchen? And if you could, can you give me a little tip in cooking a titanium only ROM from your kitchen?

Thanks.

Re: [Dec.26.09] MysteryROM Kitchen 21887 Sense 2.1 & Sense 2.5

I've had this one issue popup in the last 3 or 4 builds I made. Whenever I receive a missed call or a text or something, the LED flashes as normal, but I'm never able to turn on the screen. I end up having to pull the battery.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Mystery. Do you have the new sys 23517, if yes, can you post it. I've noticed that the link with all your sys files don't work. Thanks
