Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

that is not an option for me. I can go to network settings and select either home, automatic, or "roaming only". There are no other setting from there.

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

hello all,
i'm having problems with my sprint mogul. every now and then whenever i call out i can't hear anything so i end up calling 2-3 times in a row with no result. so i after a soft reset i try the number again, then it works. now the people on the other end can hear me, cause they've told me that they've said "hello" multiple times and i wouldn't answer. also, typing is a drag as it takes a while for what is typed to be seen on screen. finally, every now and then GPS would not receive a signal. i have to soft reset to get it going. (sprintnav is GPS soft i use)
hard reset have not fixed the problems. a few days after a hard reset, the problems return. now i have taken it to the sprint store, and as with a breaking car, the phone worked fine and they sent me on my way.
i have not called sprint because i don't want to send it to them and they not find anything wrong and then i get charged.
what options do i have? ( i have the assurion insurance i pay monthly for.)
thnx

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

I have a question for one of the Sprint reps. I have been offered an early handset upgrade by Sprint, even though I am not done with my contract. However, the phone I am interested is not available yet (Pre). Can any of you tell me if it would be possible to renew my contract now, but wait to claim the phone upgrade until later? Can my upgrade eligibility be "stored" in any way? I know I could just wait to upgrade until the Pre comes out, but I want to know if it would be possible in the way I described. Thanks for insight!

Peter

i'm not a rep but i can answer your question. you can renew and have a sprint rep (phone) note your account and whatever is noted will be honored. but why not just go month-to-month and when the pre is released, then sign a new contract?

Re: Sprint Verizon At&t empoyees

well, you could go ahead and renew ur contract, but it would be pointless unless they give u something for it, like the upgrade discount. my suggestion would be to not do anything until the phone you want comes out. when they do the upgrade, they will renew ur contract at that time, so if u do it now it would be a waste since they would do it again when u get ur phone neway.

That answers my question. If they are going to renew my account again when I get my phone, there is no point in doing it now. Thanks!
