those that are doing it through the website, i am assuming its through sprint...not sure..

but are you guys paying insurance or something..is that how you are getting the TPs

The Sprint website is through Sprint, not Asurion (insurance). I believe they verify that your phone is still under the manufacturers warranty, which doesn't require use of the insurance. I'm not 100% on that last part though. With insurance you have to pay a deductible, but in my case I have to pay $0. I do have insurance by the way.

yeah same here...i am through alltel...and i wish they had something like this for sure..but i am on my last phone...then if something bad happens (defect) then they have to visually check the phone out to make sure that there is something wrong with it...then they will try to get me another 6800...which i think it would be my 5th phone...which all had issues...buttons not working locking up or white spots....time for the upgrade to the TP

I check my e-mail and I just received a confirmationwith the UPS tracking # stating it was shipped out today (estimated delivery is tomorrow, but the tracking shows it is already in my local area for delivery). I submitted the E-ticket on Sunday, so for those who are worried about getting the second e-mail, RELAX! If anything calling sprint and bugging them, or getting in contact with Asurion mixes things up for you. If you received this first e-mail from sprint, just wait a few days to receive the second e-mail, some poeple even mentioned receiving the phone before the second e-mail. on a side note, the TP forums have WAY too many custom rom threads, its going to take a while to sift through them all.

Uh...there are 93 pages already explaining how they did the exchange. It's been the case for a while that yuo can exchange faulty phones. It's just good timing for Mogul users as a lot of us have owned ours for less than two years and they are already reaching their end of life as a product line so the swapped device is often a Touch Pro now.

I signed up yesterday and in theory I will have a Touch Pro on my doorstep when I get home from work tomorrow but I have not seen any tracking info come up yet. From what everyone else has said it should be here tomorrow.

This will work out well because I was planning to wait until my 2 years were up in November and then compare the new stuff coming out (Pre, new iPhones, new WM phones, etc.) but I wasn't sure I could wait that long with a Mogul that was starting to die. Now I will have a Pro to keep me occupied until the new phones come out and get reviewed. I wouldn't have bought one otherwise because I don't think it is enough of an upgrade to get me to spend hundreds of dollars. $55 is OK.

Go to page 2 of this thread, about halfway down, and you'll find the linkt to the website. Fill out the info there... it's pretty self explanatory. Before you submit, it will let you know what you have and what they are giving you. If you're not happy with the replacement then just cancel the transaction. BTW, what is it that's wrong with the phone?
